Space designed by Listen Communication: Woori Bank | 프리미엄 금융센터 프래그십 Woori Bank 프리미엄 금융센터 프래그십 Location: Seoul Digital Premium Finance Center, Seoul Digital Industrial Complex Area: 830.17m2 Design: Listen Communication Collaboration: Artist Kimsu Completed: March 2023 Photographer: Jaeyoon Kim Client Woori Bank The Seoul Digital Premium Finance Center, located within the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex, the largest industrial complex in Korea, is a flagship store that provides premium services specialized to the upper-class. This space is an offline channel that provides Woori Bank's top-notch services, providing comprehensive financial services with enhanced corporate finance and asset management expertise tailored to the region's characteristics. Upon entering the entrance of this space, you will face a long lounge embracing the blue sea. It is a space where the designer's will to restore the human mind and revive the inherent energy through the nature in the space stands out. The dark blue traces left intact by the waves and the small birds that seem to fly away at any moment greet visitors sitting on the rocks. Visitors will have the experience of assimilating with nature for a while in a space where the sound of the waves and the chirping of birds harmonize. The fan objet, which looks like overlapping seashells on one wall, shows the craftsman's sincerity by delicately trimming bamboo. Consultation and work with customers are conducted in a privately specialized individual consultation space, tailored to each customer. Someday we hope for holding the sunset, with the mind that the sun did not rise and this night was forever. Someday we hope this times goes fast and come tomorrow. Like the plain and analog lights can be bright, dark and even off, we are grateful to see the light that can breathe with my feelings of now, even though it's not a pleasant sun(light) every day. I look back the refreshing memories of morning sunshine, permeated through grass. 해가 뜬다는 것은 보편적으로 희망을 의미한다고 말한다. 어떤날은 간절히 해가 뜨지 않고 이 밤이 영원했으면하는 마음으로 지는해를 잡고 싶을때도 있고, 어떤날은 이 시간이 빨리지나 내일이 왔으면 하는 날도 있다. 너무나도 평범하고 아날로그적으로 작동되는 조명이 밝고,어둡고 심지어 꺼저있어도 되듯이, 매일 매일 기분좋은 해가 아니어도 지금의 나의 감정과 호흡 할 수 있는 빛을 비추고 있는것에 감사하며, 풀숲 사이로 스며든 아침햇살의 상쾌했던 추억을 회상해 본다. 본 제품은 디자인 권리 및 보호를 위하여 실용신안 등록되었습니다. This piece of furniture depicts the waves of the sea sparkling in the sunset over the horizon, and is designed as a sideboard for storage. Main Exhibition The traditional crafts of the 2023 Jinju Traditional Craft Biennale, themed "Today's Crafts, Tomorrow's Traditions," are based on the original craft nature (craft spirit) and creative reinterpretation of traditions. Traditional crafts are the product of the labor and spirit of craft artists who establish today's traditions and continue tomorrow's traditions and are in harmony with the laws of nature. Today's crafts are directed toward tomorrow's new traditions. Leading domestic craft artists who are building their own unique world of works in all fields of contemporary crafts that inherit traditional techniques and craft spirits using materials such as ceramics, wood (lacquerware), metal, and textiles will participate.
