News of Listen Communication: Prix Versailles Hotels | Paris, UNESCO Prix Versailles Hotels Paris, UNESCO 본사에서 인테리어 디자인 기획, 설계를 진행한 "더 한옥 헤리티지하우스" 프로젝트가 유네스코(UNESCO)와 세계 건축가 협회에서 수여하는 The World Architecture And Design Award - Prix Versailles / Paris 에서 "세계에서 가장 아름다운 호텔로 (World's Most Beautiful Hotels) " 부문 최고 상인 Prix Versailles (베르사유 건축상 1위) 를 수상하였습니다. 베르사유 건축상 선정위원회는 지난 2일(현지시간) 프랑스 파리 유네스코(UNESCO) 본부에서 시상식을 열고 더한옥 헤리티지 하우스를 호텔 부문 1위로 호명했다. 벤자민 마일피드 심사 위원장은 "우리 삶을 더욱 조화롭게 하며, 더 나은 세상을 만들 수 있도록 영감을 주는 건축물"이라며 높게 평가했다. 유네스코와 국제 건축가 협회가 2015년 제정한 베르사유 건축상은 해마다 '세계에서 가장 아름다운 현대 건축물'에 주는 상으로 공항, 학교, 여객터미널, 스포츠 경기장, 쇼핑몰, 박물관, 호텔, 레스토랑 등 8개 부문에서 각각 순위를 매긴다. 베르사유상은 매년 독창성, 생태적 효율성, 혁신성, 지속 가능성, 문화적 조화를 기준으로 전 세계에서 가장 뛰어난 건축과 디자인을 선정하여 수여되는 상으로 한국인이 설계하고 디자인한 건축물 중 1위로 선정된 것은 이번이 처음이다. 이번 수상을 계기로 건축계의 노벨상이라 불리는 프리츠커상을 수상한 세계적 건축가들과 어깨를 나란히 하며 한국의 문화유산을 세계에 널리 알렸다는데 큰 의미가 있다는 평가를 받는다. The HANOK Heritage House project, has won the Prix Versailles , making it "The Most Beautiful Hotel in the World" for 2024. Announced each year at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France, the Prix Versailles awards celebrates the outstanding achievements in architecture and design globally. At the 2024 Prix Versailles Awards held in UNESCO, Paris, this project took home the first place award, 'Prix Versailles', recognized for its outstanding cultural significance that beautifully celebrates the traditional Korean Hanok architecture. The Banpo Raemian Firstige 268 m² project elevates the grandeur unique to large-sized units through warm, substantial solid walnut wood that forms the foundation of the space, and a minimalist design that considers visual spatial expansion. The elegant grain of the walnut, flowing along the spacious living room and hallway, harmonizes with the natural light pouring in from outside, infusing the entire space with an unwavering sense of weight and elegance. A place that offers quiet leisure and new inspiration to the daily lives of its inhabitants, Listen Communication has perfected the value of a timeless high-end residential space with its unique and delicate perspective. < >

Listen Communication is an interior and architecture studio based in Seoul, South Korea. We create contemporary spaces and objects inspired by Korea's traditional cultural heritage. We merge Korean heritage with contemporary design.
