The designer interpreted a contour of mountain using a natural timber annual ring. Concept of design: a hang-loose attitude toward life of Confucian Scholar. 산봉우리 형태의 찻잔은 청정한 자연을 모티브로 백자소재로 제작 되었으며, 산의 등고선은 나무의 자연스러운 나이테를 이용하여 표현하였다. 옛 선비들의 자연에서의 유유자적한 삶을 컨셉으로 디자인하였다. Inspired by the tranquil beauty of a garden, the design creates a space that evokes a sense of peace and connection to the natural world. The main lounge invites visitors to relax on comfortable sofas and engage with the collection through interactive technology, allowing them to learn about the stories behind each donated artwork displayed on the walls. Elements that represent mountains, hills, and birds are thoughtfully integrated into the design, enhancing the feeling of being surrounded by nature. The foyer, bathed in natural light, serves as a welcoming transition, with its design flowing seamlessly from the lounge and emphasizing the connection between art, nature, and space. In the adjacent screen rooms, the lighting dims to focus attention on the digital screens, while seats inspired by hills create a unique, personal experience for each viewer. Every detail, from the organic forms to the individualized seating, invites visitors to reflect on the meaningful act of donation and the lasting impact of art shared with the world. 국립중앙박물관의 기증유물 전시 공간은 자연과 기술이 조화롭게 어우러진 장소로, ‘기증’이라는 개념이 공간의 요소를 통해 펼쳐집니다. 고요한 정원의 아름다움을 모티브로 설계된 이 공간은 평온한 자연과의 연결성을 불러일으키며, 방문객들에게 깊은 여운을 남깁니다. 메인 라운지는 안락한 소파에서 휴식을 취하며, 벽면에 전시된 기증 유물의 이야기를 인터랙티브 기술을 통해 접할 수 있는 공간이며 관람객은 각 기증품에 담긴 의미와 기증자의 의도를 자연스럽게 이해할 수 있습니다. 산과 언덕, 새 등을 형상화한 요소들이 공간 곳곳에 섬세하게 녹아들어, 마치 자연 속에 있는 듯한 몰입감을 제공합니다. 자연광이 따스하게 들어오는 포이어는 라운지에서 이어지는 환영의 공간으로, 예술과 자연이 자연스러운 동선을 유도합니다. 인접한 스크린 존은 자연의 언덕에 앉아 먼산을 보듯이 스크린에 투영되는 기증자의 이야기를 들어볼 수 있는 개인적인 경험을 선사합니다. 유기적인 형태와 맞춤형 좌석 등 공간의 모든 요소들은 예술을 세상과 나누는 ‘기증’이라는 행위의 의미를 되새기고, 그것이 지닌 지속적인 가치를 조용히 느낄 수 있습니다.
