IIDA Global Excellence Awards 2024

본사에서 인테리어 디자인 기획, 설계를 진행한 "더 한옥 헤리티지하우스" 프로젝트가 미국 시카고 기반의 국제 인테리어 디자인 협회 IIDA (International Interior Design Association) 에서 주최하는 Global Excellence Awards 2024 호텔 부문에서 ‘Winner’를 수상했다. 이 상은 국제적인 인테리어 디자인과 인테리어 건축 프로젝트의 독창성과 창의성을 기리는 권위 있는 상으로 더 한옥 헤리티지 하우스의 디자인적 우수성을 입증했다.

The IIDA Interior Design Competition honors achievement in outstanding interior architecture and design that encourages and uses innovative interior design ideas, techniques, and furnishings. Established in 1974, the IIDA Interior Design Competition has awarded some of the most forward-thinking and innovative interior design projects globally.

IIDA is honored to announce the winners of the 2024 IIDA Global Excellence Awards, which honors innovation and creativity in international interior design and interior architecture projects across 15 categories. “Designers from around the world look to these winners as inspiration to challenge themselves on use of materials to create a one-of-a-kind experience of their own,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “This award highlights the heightened level of creativity and forward-thinking design needed to completely transform a space into something significant and unique.”

Entries were reviewed by a jury of design professionals, including, Blitz Co-Founder and Architect, Melissa Hanley, IIDA, AIA; Soucie Horner, Ltd. Studio Director, Meg Prendergast; and HDR Design Director of Interiors, Abby L. Scott, FIIDA. “The use of materials, like vibrant textiles, lush greenery, or the waves of color that envelope those that enter the space made these projects stand out,” said Scott on behalf of the jury. “The design teams behind these projects demonstrated exceptional thoughtfulness in their execution, seamlessly incorporating function to deliver dynamic designs.”
