Architect and designer Kim Sangyoon navigates between precision and spontaneity, structure and color. In 2013, he founded Listen Communication in Seoul to begin a design journey that blends tradition with experimentation.

His work spans housing, commercial spaces, furniture, and lighting—reinterpreting Korean heritage through a contemporary lens. From quiet spaces shaped by wood and concrete to bold expressions of color and form, his designs invite viewers to see both spaces and objects in new ways.

Kim’s ongoing creative exploration reveals how aesthetic value and cultural identity can be reimagined today. His designs aim to convey not only beauty in form but also emotion, experience, and the layers of time.
