윤슬:  햇빛이나 달빛에 비치어 반짝이는 잔물결 (사전적 의미)

수평선 너머 석양에 반짝이는 바다 물결을 표현한 가구로 수납이 가능한 사이드 보드로 디자인 되었다.

This piece of furniture depicts the waves of the sea sparkling in the sunset over the horizon, and is designed as a sideboard for storage.

Main Exhibition

The traditional crafts of the 2023 Jinju Traditional Craft Biennale, themed "Today's Crafts, Tomorrow's Traditions," are based on the original craft nature (craft spirit) and creative reinterpretation of traditions.

Traditional crafts are the product of the labor and spirit of craft artists who establish today's traditions and continue tomorrow's traditions and are in harmony with the laws of nature. Today's crafts are directed toward tomorrow's new traditions. Leading domestic craft artists who are building their own unique world of works in all fields of contemporary crafts that inherit traditional techniques and craft spirits using materials such as ceramics, wood (lacquerware), metal, and textiles will participate. The Jinju Traditional Craft Biennale will examine the new traditions created with the value and meaning of crafts that are changing from the past to the present and then to the future.

주제관

오늘의 공예, 내일의 전통" 을 주제로 하는 2023 진주전통공예비엔날레의 전통공예는 본연의 공예성(공예 정신)과 전통의 창조적 재해석에 기반한다.

전통공예는 오늘의 전통을 세우고 내일의 전통으로 이어지며 자연법칙과 조화하는 공예작가의 노동과 정신의 산물이다. 오늘의 공예는 내일의 새로운 전통을 향한다. 도자, 목(목칠), 금속, 섬유 등의 소재로 전통의 기술과 공예 정신을 계승하는 동시대 공예 전 분야에서 고유한 작품세계를 구축하고 있는 국내 대표 중진 공예작가가 참여한다. 과거에서 현대로 다시 미래로 변화하는 공예의 가치와 의미로 만드는 새로운 전통을 진주전통공예비엔날레가 살펴보고자 한다.
