VR Visions of Korean Heritage

​

An AR experience zone within the utopian garden filled with scent of flowers.

 

As you follow the scent of smoke, you will face a flower that holds the warmth.

Inspired by Hanok(traditional Korean house) the exhibition area is an idealistic space where reality and unreality, past and present are being coexisting.

Traces of little birds and tiger patterned ridge illustrates the creatures of nature and the warmth of nature itself. The garden is designed to offer a comfortable resting space and it is filled with craft products based on the usability, quality contents with cutting edge technology and cultural heritage.

In collaboration with the Nakhwa(traditional wood burning) Master the designer has created furniture and object for the space.

꽃 향기 가득한 이상향의 정원을 품은 실감 콘텐츠 체험공간

 

연기의 향내음에 이끌려 길을 따라가다 보면 어느새 온기를 머금은 꽃을 마주한다.

전통 한옥과 한지발을 모티브로 재해석된 전시장은 현실과 비현실, 전통과 현대가 공존하는 이상향의 공간이다.  작은 새가 남기고 간 발자국, 호랑이 무늬 모양의 능선 등 온기를 가득 머금은 자연을 품은 정원과 마주하게 된다. 이곳 정원은 쓰임에 기반한 공예와 현대의 모바일 친화 문화,첨단 기술과 문화유산을 결합한 고품질 콘텐츠를 제공하여 관람객들이 특별한 지식 없이도 전 세대가 과거 문화유산의 가치를 공유하고 편안히 휴식할 수 있는 공간으로 계획되었다.

불을 다루는 예술인 '낙화(烙畫)'와 만난 현대적인 쓰임의 가구와 오브제는 무형문화재 낙화장과 디자이너의 협업으로 진행되었다.
